Contrabbandieri Route is one of the most scenic and striking routes around Lake Garda, but also one of the most exposed and demanding. The path runs suspended between rocky walls and sheer drops, with long sections directly overlooking the lake, requiring sure footing, no fear of heights, and constant attention.
This is not a trail for everyone: exposure is continuous and, in some sections, particularly significant, making the hike suitable only for experienced and well-equipped hikers. In return, it offers an intense and spectacular experience, where the sense of height and the openness of the landscape create a unique blend of adrenaline and natural beauty.
